Enrichment Policies and Procedures
1) Student Behavior
All students are expected to conduct themselves according to the school system's Code of Conduct. Any student that fails to follow the school rules or has excessive behavioral issues that continually disrupt other students will be removed from the class for the rest of the semester.
We have a 3 Strikes policy at iSpeak.
After the first offense, the teacher will speak directly with the child to resolve the issue. If the problem continues, the teacher will contact the parent to help resolve the issue. If the problem still exists after involving the parent, the child will be asked to leave the class. No refund will be issued for such removal.
2) Refund Policy
If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, a refund for the full amount of tuition will be issued.
Cancellations initiated by the parent must be made by August 26th. A refund will be issued less a processing fee of $15. Please note that NO refunds will be issued once the class has begun.
3) Student Pick-up
Students will be escorted by their teacher to a predetermined area for sign-out and pick-up. For security reasons, parents may not be in the building at any time. Parents must show a picture ID and sign for their child each week. If a child is to go home with someone other than a parent, the teacher must be notified at least 3 hours in advance.
4) Late Pick-up
Parents should be waiting in the pick-up area to receive their child when class ends. If a parent is more than 10 minutes late, the child will be taken to after-school care and a drop-in fee will be charged. For Hoover and Pelham classes, a $1/minute late fee will be charged.
5) Photos/Videos used for Website/Class Publicity
Photos and videos taken during an iSpeak class may be used for our website and/or flyers unless permission is refused below.
